Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mindfulness for learning. If you continue to browse and use our website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use together with our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions and/or Privacy Policy, please do not use our website. Once you pay for a service with us, you are accepting our Terms and Conditions as stated on our Stripe payment pages.

Products and services

All services are supplied by Mindfulness for learning, subject to the following terms.

In these Terms ​“we”/“us”/“our” means Mindfulness for learning. And ​“you”/“your”/“yours” means you, the direct customer. When we refer to our website and our services we mean Mindfulnessforlearning.com and any of/all of the services and information you will find at Mindfulnessforlearning.com.

Disclaimer

Mindfulness for learning offer a range of resources (advice articles, online sessions, a podcast, workshops, yoga classes, recommended organisations and clubs) focused on the wellbeing of children, educators, parents and carers. Mindfulness for learning does not intend in any way to replace the advice of qualified health professionals. If you're concerned about the mental or physical health of yourself, an adult, a child, or young person, you should always seek help from a qualified health professional and in an emergency seek help from the emergency services. You should not rely on any of Mindfulness for learning's material, training, workshops or clubs for clinical decision making and we do not accept any responsibility if you do.

Your use of any information or materials made available on our website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through the website meet your specific requirements.

Health and Safety

We invite children into our workshops, yoga classes, online sessions and clubs on the assumption that they are in good health unless otherwise stated. It is the responsibility of you (the parent/carer/guardian) to inform us of any medical specifications or history suffered by your child. 

 

We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage arising from errors or missing information on our registration forms whether completed by you or another person at the time of completion.

 

We do not accept liability for death or personal injury to any child or adult attending any of our clubs, training, workshops or online sessions save to the extent that such death or injury is resulting from our negligence.

An adult must accompany children at all times during our online sessions and any recording, taking screenshots, photos or sharing of our kids online events is prohibited for safeguarding reasons.

Links from this site

Where our sites contain links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Linking to our site

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You may not establish a link suggesting any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. The website from which you are linking must comply in all respects with these terms of use. Intellectual property rights

We are the owner of all intellectual property on our site, and the material published on it. We are the owner of the intellectual property including our training, planning and resources shared with all schools, children's centres, nurseries and organisations and charitiesAll such rights are reserved.

You may print off copies and download extracts of any page from our site for your personal reference only.

You must not use any of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining our permission. You must not modify any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

You are prohibited from taking screenshots, photos or recordings of any of our presentations unless otherwise agreed with us. Any slides/presentations shared with you as part of our training, support and workshops must not be shared with anybody else and deleted once your sessions are completed. You must get our permission in writing to use/reuse any of our material in presentations or on websites that do not belong to us.

Prices and payment

The cost of each ​service will be shown clearly on the website or on our price list which can be emailed upon request. Services can be booked through contacting Mindfulness for learning using the email address, sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com or by using the 'book' button which take you through to the Stripe payment system instantly. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have made your booking and submitted payment correctly.

School Workshops

An invoice will be sent to your school on the day of the first scheduled service and payment is expected within 14 days of invoicing.

​

School Yoga

Our yoga sessions are usually paid for by the school in block payments of a term. The price of the term will depend on the requirements of the school and will be negotiated via phone/email when you contact us. If schools usually expect outside companies to collect payment from parents directly this can be discussed.

 

Online Events

Payment for online events will be completed through Stripe and the price will be stated on our website. If the price is not on our website you can email us at sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com for a price list.

Kids/Mini Wellbeing Club

A non-refundable deposit of £25 will be requested via invoice to secure your child's place. The remaining £55 will be requested via a further invoice. Your child will not be able to attend if the full payment has not been received. 

​

Kids Yoga Classes

We collect payment via stripe for an individual pop up sessions  or block of yoga sessions. The amount of sessions will be stated on our website alongside the specific dates/times of the sessions. Prices will vary. We do offer one-to-one yoga sessions, you can receive an individual quote for these sessions by emailing us. We cannot guarantee that the prices of one-to-one sessions will be the same for everyone as the price will take into consideration peak times, travel and specific requirements.

Parent Workshops and Other Kids Clubs

Payment for online/in person parent workshops, clubs and tutoring will be completed through Stripe. The price of these sessions vary and are usually stated on our website. If the price is not on our website you can email us at sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com for a price list.

 

Child Wellbeing Tutoring/Sessions

For Child Wellbeing sessions a deposit will be required when booked more than one month in advance of the first session. The remaining amount will be due one week before the first booked session. The amount depends on how many sessions you are booking - all information can be found on the relevant page.

Corporate Clients

Payment for online and in person events will be completed through Stripe and prices are determined by the specific requests of the company following a meeting with a representative. Full payment will be required to secure bookings of online and in person events. 

​

Shop

Payment for products online will be completed through Stripe. All products will be priced as seen on website and via the Stripe link you use to pay. You will receive a Stripe invoice via email.

​

Non-payment of fees

If your service fees become overdue, we reserve the right to refuse you further workshops/events/clubs/ products until the overdue sums are paid in full.

Should you default on payments to us, we reserve the right to notify the default to a credit reference agency or other third party to obtain payment from you.

Guarantees and warranties

In the event that we need to cancel a service you have booked with us, we will contact you by email (and text for Kids/Mini Wellbeing Club and Kids Yoga classes) to inform you as soon as possible and discuss transferring your service to a new date/time where appropriate. 

 

Cancelling or changing your booking

School Workshops

You can cancel your workshop booking up to 30 days before your first scheduled service without charge. If you choose to cancel your booking later than 30 days before your first scheduled service you will be charged the full amount for your booking. Please note that for any workshop bookings cancelled due to unforeseen Covid-19 outbreaks in schools only, specific arrangements may be made by emailing sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com.

You may change your workshop booking up to 30 days before your first scheduled service where possible. You may not change your workshop booking any later than 30 days before your first scheduled service.

School Yoga

You can cancel your School Yoga booking up until 30 days before your first scheduled yoga class. If you choose to cancel the booking fewer than 30 days before your scheduled service you will not be given a refund. You may not change your workshop booking any later than 30 days before your service. Please note that for any workshop bookings cancelled due to unforeseen Covid-19 outbreaks in schools only, specific arrangements may be made by emailing sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com.

Any yoga classes cancelled by us will be rescheduled where possible and refunded in full if a convenient time cannot be found.

Kids/Mini Wellbeing Club

If you decide to cancel after paying the £25 deposit, the deposit will not be refunded. If you decide to cancel after paying the remaining balance of £55, it will not be refunded unless the cancellation is made 30 days prior to the start date. If the course is cancelled by us we will refund you in full (including the deposit).

Refunds are not available for missed sessions, all dates are clearly stated on the website and invoices.

 

Please note that for any Kids/Mini Wellbeing Club bookings cancelled due to unforeseen Covid-19 outbreaks, specific arrangements may be made by emailing sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com.

Kids Yoga Classes

You can cancel your block of sessions up to 30 days before your first session without charge. If you choose to cancel the booking later than 30 days before your first session your payment will not be refunded. 

 

You can cancel your Pop Up Yoga session up to 14 days before the session and receive a full refund. If you notify us any later than 14 days before you will be unable to get a refund. 

 

Please note that for any session booking cancelled due to unforeseen Covid-19 outbreaks, specific arrangements may be made by emailing sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com.

You may change your booking up to 30 days before your scheduled first service where possible. You may not change your booking any later than 30 days before your service.  

 

If we choose to cancel the block of sessions (in the specified 30 days) we will refund you in full. If we cancel an individual session we will notify you via text and email and we will credit you with one session. 

​

Garden Yoga

You can cancel a Garden Yoga Session and receive a full refund if you notify us 30 days before your first session. 

 

We will not cancel an individual session in response to mild weather conditions. If a session is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions we will notify you via text and email and with as much notice as is possible. We will then credit your booking with one session.

Parent Workshops and Other Kids Clubs

You can cancel your session booking up to 30 days before your scheduled service/first session of a block of sessions without charge. If you choose to cancel your booking fewer than 30 days before your scheduled service/first block of sessions you will be charged the full amount for your booking. Please note that for any session booking cancelled due to unforeseen Covid-19 outbreaks, specific arrangements may be made by emailing sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com.

You may change your workshop booking up to 30 days before your scheduled service where possible. You may not change your workshop booking any later than 30 days before your service.

 

Child Wellbeing Tutoring/Sessions

If you cancel your Child Wellbeing Sessions when the deposit has already been paid you will lose your deposit only. You will be expected to pay the remaining amount one week before the first booked Child Wellbeing Session. Refunds for Child Wellbeing sessions will only be issued in cases where an error or fault on our part has directly impacted your purchase or service.

Corporate Events

We will require the payment in full to secure your online or in person events at least 30 days before the event takes place. You can cancel your event up to 30 days before your first scheduled service and receive a refund. If you choose to cancel your booking later than 30 days before your first scheduled service you will be unable to receive a refund. Please note that for any event booking cancelled due to unforeseen Covid-19 outbreaks, specific arrangements may be made by emailing sophie@mindfulnessforlearning.com. You may change your workshop booking up to 30 days before your first scheduled service where possible. You may not change your workshop booking any later than 30 days before your first scheduled service.

Shop

Any faulty products purchased on our shop page via Stripe will be refunded within 14 days. We will pay full postage for faulty items needing to be returned. 

Any returns made due to a change of mind will need to be returned by the consumer in perfect condition and posted back to us within 14 days where we will give you a full refund. We will not pay for postage for returns that are due to a change of mind.

Using our information

The information found on this site is not intended to be solely relied upon without further advice from professionals. We therefore disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such information by any visitor to our site, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our site content may change over time and some articles/information may be old and considered out of date, we are under no obligation to update our site.

Terms and Conditions updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, so please review them frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware.

 

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties hereby

agree to submit the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.​​
